ABOUT

I am an Emmy award-winning creative director with 20+ years professional experience in media and motion graphics design. I am looking to continue growing in design and am willing to relocate, with focus on Texas and Florida. My background includes studio graphics, logo design, branding, project management, template design & maintenance, large scale indoor/outdoor signage, basic web ads and graphics, social media, TV spots and storyboards. Efficient with deadlines, schedules, staff management and mentoring.

Experience
Currently Creative Director with Magis Media. Previously Art Director at WOOD TV8 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Also provide freelance graphics and video support for clients such as Starlite Shores Family Camp, Steelcase, Grand Rapids Public Schools, Walking By Faith, and Corewell Health.

My experience is well rounded, having spent extensive time in a newsroom environment, running the assignment desk, producing newscasts and writing for web and social media.

These experiences contribute to my approach to design: simple and clear, yet dynamic and never the same. Each project is different and the design should never be so in-your-face that it detracts & distracts from the message being communicated. I'm very passionate about every project I'm apart of, and am always looking for new inspiration to continue to elevate my skills further. I believe every project is an opportunity to learn something new.
